The Creator Recreates the Scene of "The Exit 8", But a Giant Black Cat Suddenly Appears?

The horror survival escape game "The Exit 8", developed by the game studio KOTAKE CREATE, became a hot topic among Japanese players as soon as it was released on Steam at the end of November 2023. It was even adapted into a live-action film starring Kazunari Ninomiya from "Arashi".

A creative Twitter user in Japan transformed their cat's cardboard box into a scene from "The Exit 8" with a giant black cat blocking the underground passage. This scene attracted a lot of attention from netizens, who praised the creativity and cuteness.

Of course, this is not a scene from the game or a movie trailer, but a carefully arranged work by the black cat's owner, Tigunoa (@Teagle_Noir). He decorated the inside of a cardboard box in the style of "Exit 8" and photographed his cat sitting inside, receiving nearly 180,000 likes. Prior to this, the owner had shared photos of the black cat Noir in a cardboard box, and netizens immediately commented, "Isn't this just like a scene from Exit 8?" This gave him the idea to create a mini-scene.

The owner said, "I just pasted images that looked like floors and walls inside the box, which took about an hour," but the result was amazing! The most ingenious part was a hole dug in the top of the box, allowing light to shine in and create the dim and illuminated atmosphere of an underground passage. The reproduction of the signage is also very detailed, making those who have played the game nod in agreement. The owner's other cat, Cha-tora, also likes to nestle inside, and the two cats even compete for territory!

The post immediately went viral, garnering over 170,000 likes, with netizens commenting, "I don't want to escape this anomaly," and "Please let me take this subway!" Some players even said that they would be willing to be sent back to the starting point, just to personally experience this "black cat anomaly". As for the protagonist, the black cat Noir, he doesn't care about the decorations and is as comfortable as ever. He also plays happily with another cat "Cha-tora" who lives with him, seeming to enjoy the atmosphere of becoming an internet sensation.
