Austin Pets Alive! (APA), a nonprofit animal shelter, took Sally under their care. APA had been involved in groundbreaking research on FIP treatment, collaborating with the University of Florida Shelter Medicine program. Their innovative approach had already saved over 250 cats from this previously untreatable disease.
