In Colombia, a stray dog was seen wandering for days near the entrance of a building. One day, a female police officer noticed the dog and stopped by the roadside. Remarkably, the dog reacted as if it had seen an old friend, rushing up to her with affection. The officer then called a taxi and asked the driver to take the dog back to her home, deciding to adopt this abandoned stray.
Employees of the building revealed that the dog and the officer had actually formed a bond long before this encounter. The stray dog, named Toby, once had a warm home, but his owner had to move to another city and left Toby behind. Since then, Toby stayed in front of the building, seemingly waiting for his owner to return.
The building staff, unable to bear seeing Toby suffer outdoors, provided him with food and water every day. One day, Sandra, a female police officer, happened to pass by on her motorcycle and saw Toby. The dog approached her as if greeting a familiar person.
Shortly after, Sandra hailed a taxi and brought Toby into the vehicle, asking the driver to take him to her home. She decided to officially adopt Toby and give him a permanent home.
