A Japanese cat enthusiast has gained attention for his unique collection of tabby cats. He has a special fondness for brown tabbies and has adopted seven of them over time. To many, these cats seem identical, but the owner insists each has distinct characteristics.
Recently, he shared a photo of all his cats gathered together, which left many online users bewildered, wondering how he could tell them apart. The photo attracted nearly three million views and sparked a flurry of comments, with some jokingly asking if it was a case of "cloning".
The owner, who shares his life with the seven tabbies on social media, revealed that despite their similar appearance, the cats include a variety of breeds such as Munchkin, Scottish Fold, Bengal mix, and American Shorthair. He explained that while they all appear to be brown tabbies at first glance, each cat can be distinguished by their ears, limbs, and coat patterns.
As the weather cools down, most of the cats love to snuggle up in clothes or blankets for warmth. The owner captured a heartwarming moment of his beloved pets all gathered on a warm bed, sitting, lying, or lounging in various poses, which instantly melted his heart.
The photo's exposure led to numerous comments, with many expressing amazement at the similarity of the cats and asking for their names. The owner humorously noted that his cats are often jokingly referred to as "doppelgangers", but despite their similar appearance, each cat is unique.
