The approximately two-year-old short-haired orange cat was seen cowering near a check-in counter, visibly frightened. Animal rescuer and veterinarian Rana Hamieh was alerted by airport staff and immediately intervened to rescue the cat.
Upon arrival, Hamieh found the cat traumatized by the crowds and noise, hiding under an escalator. Unfortunately, some passersby even physically harassed the helpless animal, exacerbating its fear. Hamieh quickly removed the cat from the airport, conducted a health check, and treated its injuries. Fortunately, the cat suffered no serious harm.
