Adopted Stray Cat Twins "Less Similar as They Grow Up": Are They Really Siblings?

An owner adopted a pair of stray tabby cat siblings and raised them. However, as they grew older, something peculiar became apparent: the sister looked like a male cat, while the brother resembled a female cat. At times, even the owner found it difficult to distinguish between them. This unusual phenomenon left many online users bewildered.

A user named "@20siesta" shared a photo of the sibling cats, which were clearly from the same litter but had grown to look completely different. The owner posted the photo, asking people to guess which cat was the sister and which was the brother. The post attracted over 9.7 million views, with many users commenting, "I think the sister is the one on the left with the round eyes," or "Could the sister be the one with the charming, narrowed eyes?" Some noted that while the cats' coloring indicated they were siblings, it was hard to tell who was the brother and who was the sister.

Later, the owner revealed the answer in a follow-up post, confirming that the more masculine-looking cat on the right was indeed the sister, and the brother was the one on the left with the large, round eyes. The owner admitted, "It's really hard to imagine that the handsome one is a girl, and the cute one is a boy."
