A UK couple's beloved Labrador, Daisy, was stolen from their yard by strangers more than seven years ago. The couple spent years searching, even appealing to the world through news and social media, but never received any news about Daisy. Unexpectedly, in 2025, they finally witnessed a miracle.
According to a Facebook post by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), a recent routine inspection by an inspector brought miraculous good news. The inspector discovered a Labrador in poor condition in Weston-super-Mare, about 370 kilometers away from the couple's old home. She had multiple untreated mammary masses, likely due to being used for breeding for a long time. The owner, unable to afford medical expenses, agreed to hand the dog over to the RSPCA for care.
After scanning the microchip, staff were surprised to find that the data indicated she was the Labrador, Daisy, stolen eight years ago. The RSPCA immediately contacted Daisy's legal owners, Rita and Philip Potter. The two could hardly believe it when they received the call, initially thinking it was a scam. When they confirmed the news was true, the whole family was thrilled and immediately set off on a four-hour journey to pick up Daisy and bring her home.
The moment Daisy jumped out of the car, she excitedly wagged her tail, frantically sniffing familiar scents, as if she knew she was finally home. The family warmly welcomed her. Although 13-year-old Daisy has been through hardships, she has finally returned to her real home, ready to enjoy her life.
