7-Week-Old Puppy Abandoned! Seeing His Lifesavers, He Exhausted All His Energy to "Offer His Last Food as Gratitude": Thank You

A tiny 7-week-old puppy named Gunnar was abandoned by his mother in a desolate area. Animal welfare organizations were alerted and went to the rescue. The little dog seemed to know that the people in front of him were saviors who had come to rescue him. He even dug out a piece of toast to share with his benefactors. The touching scene of the highly intelligent puppy was moving.

Sidewalk Specials, an animal rescue center in South Africa, revealed that they had previously rescued a litter of puppies, including a dog mother. However, a week later, they discovered that they had missed one puppy. It had been alone for a week, and the animal welfare volunteers were very nervous. After learning the news, they immediately went to the original site to rescue it. When the volunteers arrived at their destination, they quickly found a puppy, with something in its mouth, slowly approaching humans. The volunteers discovered that it was the missing puppy, and in its mouth was a piece of toast, bigger than its head, from who knows where. Wagging its tail, it seemed to want to share food with the volunteer partners who came to help. The super friendly appearance was impressive.

Although Gunnar looked better than expected, he was sent to the veterinary hospital for examination as soon as possible. Unexpectedly, he was subsequently found to have anemia, tick bites, fever, and even an eye infection, and his physical condition was very bad. With the careful care of the medical staff, Gunnar's condition quickly improved, and fortunately, he was soon adopted by someone destined to be with him, no longer the dirty and smelly appearance he used to have.
