A man in the United States recently bought a bag of sawdust at a gardening store, but when he opened it, he found three balls of unidentified furry objects. Upon closer inspection, they turned out to be baby raccoons that had not yet grown up. The man was so frightened that he quickly returned the bag of sawdust to the store, and finally successfully returned the babies to their mother raccoons.
"Owl's Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife" posted on its Facebook page that a man went to the store to buy a pack of mulch for gardening needs. When he opened it, he was shocked to find that there were only bark and bark inside. Sawdust, and even three helpless baby raccoons huddled together in a ball. The man was frightened and didn't know what to do, so he contacted experts for help.
Subsequently, the man followed the instructions and returned the bag of coverings to the store, and volunteers from the Owl's Nest Wildlife Sanctuary also set out to go there at the same time. Shortly after returning the three baby raccoons to the store, the mother raccoon quickly tracked the scent of her babies with her keen sense of smell, quickly appeared in front of everyone, and took the babies away safely one by one.
Some netizens speculated that the mother raccoon might have found a bag of warm sawdust, so she dug a hole and put her baby inside, but the employee didn't take it seriously and sold it directly, so this happened. In order to prevent the raccoon family from being separated again, the volunteers decided to take them to a safer habitat away from the gardening shop and try their best to ensure that a similar incident would not happen again.
