Emily Mueller, a pregnant woman from Ohio, has had a lifelong connection with bees since receiving a beehive from her father during her childhood. Together with her husband, she runs a beekeeping business that boasts 24 hives and approximately 1.2 million bees.
According to a report by Dailymail, bees hold a significant meaning in Mueller's and her husband's lives. To celebrate her pregnancy, she decided to take maternity photos with 20,000 bees covering her belly, allowing them to "cover" her baby bump. Despite the unusual choice, she remarked, "Many people think I'm crazy, but during the shoot, I was only stung three times, and none of the stings were on my belly."
However, just six days before her due date, Mueller felt that her baby was not moving as usual and noticed that her uterine contractions were different. Although she was anxious, she reassured herself that the baby was simply sleeping. Unfortunately, after visiting the hospital for an examination, she was informed that her baby had been stillborn.
In the aftermath of this tragic news, Mueller reflected on the cause of her baby's death. She believes it was not due to the "bee-covered belly photo" but rather a blood clotting issue, as other family members have experienced similar losses due to this condition.
