Could Not Accept Mother's Sudden Death from Illness: Loyal Dog "Kneels and Cries at Coffin" During Funeral, Passes Away from Excessive Grief

Dogs are humanity's best friends. A heartbreaking story from Thailand illustrates this bond, where a loyal dog couldn't accept its owner's death, leading to its own tragic passing.

The dog, named Judo, refused to eat or drink after its owner, 75-year-old Somfoi Naknoi, passed away from a rare disease in Kamphaeng Phet, Thailand. During the funeral service held on December 4, 2024, Judo lay near Somfoi's coffin, constantly shedding tears, a scene that deeply moved those in attendance.

Witnesses at the funeral were heartbroken as they watched Judo's distress, some offering tissues to wipe away the dog's tears. Unexpectedly, Judo's breathing weakened, and it tragically passed away beside its owner's coffin, succumbing to grief.

Somfoi's daughter explained that Judo had been given to her mother as a puppy by neighbors and the two had formed an inseparable bond. Since Somfoi fell ill, Judo's condition had also declined, with the once healthy dog refusing food and water.

"I think Judo couldn't accept the passing of its beloved owner. Perhaps my mother couldn't bear to see Judo so heartbroken and wanted to take her with her," Somfoi's daughter said.

The family ensured that Judo received a respectful burial, so the loyal companion could join its beloved owner in heaven. This story serves as a touching reminder of the powerful connection between humans and their canine companions.
