However, one pet owner was surprisingly taken aback when they reported that such a situation had never occurred in their home before. The reason? There was a cat in front of the heater that did not belong to them.
A Twitter user known as @arimahyoue shared a photo illustrating this unusual event. In the picture, there are three cats arranged from left to right. The two cats on the left and in the middle are the owner's pets, but the large orange cat on the right was an unexpected guest. This discovery left the owner feeling quite alarmed.
Later, the owner realized that the reason for this unexpected visitor was due to their doors and windows not being properly closed. It seems that warmth from inside their home leaked out through the gaps, attracting a stray cat that wandered in seeking warmth. The owner decided to let this stray cat stay inside during the winter months.
The photo quickly gained traction online, attracting over 100,000 likes from netizens. Many users commented on the post, with remarks such as, "Not only do heaters attract cats during cold fronts, but they also bring in unfamiliar ones," and "Have you considered that orange cat might have emerged from the floor?"
