Piyo explains that frogs are quite expressive and surprisingly easy to adapt to human presence, although they don't enjoy being petted like cats or dogs. They also love to sleep all day long.
Below are some photos shared by Piyo, featuring a frog hiding in a potted plant while sleeping. Have you spotted it? This particular frog looks like jelly, lounging softly on a leaf with its eyes closed. The "jelly frog" has melted the hearts of netizens with comments like: "Gummy has eyes," "I’m going to melt," "This is a healing frog," and "So happy to see its smiling eyes."
Piyo also shares videos on her YouTube channel, showing how frogs can look sleepy-eyed. In close-up shots, the green frog appears crystal clear, resting on a bed made of leaves with its eyes slightly shut. Piyo mentions that spraying water directly on frogs can be too stimulating; instead, she waters the leaves first so they can absorb moisture comfortably. When water splashes onto the leaves, the frogs wake up with big, dazed eyes, looking adorably confused as if they haven't fully woken up yet (see video at 2:27)!
