Last time, we shared "The Cat's Petting Zone" with everyone. Recently, many users in Japan have been enjoying games that involve defining different zones. While trends come and go, understanding the specific scent zones is a fundamental experience. Today, we shift our focus to dogs, with a user sharing insights on "The Scents of Shiba Inu." As someone who has never owned a Shiba Inu, I was surprised to learn that a single Shiba Inu can have so many different scents!
This time, our featured Shiba Inu is "Chachamaru," born on June 18, 2015, making him 8 years old. The user "@pekotaro930" shared the various scents found on a Shiba Inu. For those who own one, it would be interesting to smell and confirm these scents. According to the user, most of the scent from a Shiba Inu is sun-dried aroma, covering the back and forehead. Interestingly, the ears have a yogurt scent, while the paw pads smell like popcorn. The chest and belly have a cloth-like scent. Contrary to what one might think, the smelliest area is not the rear; in fact, it is odorless! Instead, the mouth has a distinct drainage-like smell.
This concludes the user's sharing about the scent zones of Shiba Inus. Since I do not own one myself, I can't verify this information. However, if you do have a Shiba Inu, feel free to check if these observations hold true. Below are some daily life moments of dogs shared by the user. Interestingly, Chachamaru has a rabbit friend at home, but Twitter mainly showcases his life as a dog.

For Shiba Inus, one of their happiest activities is going for walks. Sometimes their owners dress them up in cosplay outfits and even set up cameras to capture their walks, resulting in amusing photos! Although Shiba Inus typically have less expressive faces, they can display exaggerated behaviors in daily life. For instance, they might sleep in such odd positions that it looks like their heads are missing or their expressions become hilariously distorted while they continue to snooze.

In summary, while I may not know what a Shiba Inu smells like, I can confidently say that this dog enjoys better sleep quality than I do!
