Everyone knows about the temperament of Shiba Inus. Sometimes, their stubbornness is as unyielding as stone. They are often referred to as "refusal dogs", a term that originates from the Japanese word for refusal. Many Shiba Inus exhibit this trait, especially when walking outside and refusing to move when their owners want to head back home.
Recently, a Japanese Twitter user (@fufufufufu_ta) shared a story about taking their Shiba Inu, FÅ«ta, on walks while wearing a fluorescent collar to prevent accidents. The glowing collar made FÅ«ta look like a whole glowing dog, but the image was somewhat comical, resembling a villainous character with a dark face.
FÅ«ta is usually a cute dog, with over 49,000 followers on Twitter. He loves to sleep on his back and show off his belly to his owner, and his specialties include smiling and rolling his eyes. Although he is very affectionate, he loves nature and the outdoors and often doesn't want to go home.
When FÅ«ta doesn't want to return home, he fully embodies the spirit of a "refusal dog". The serious face paired with the glowing monochrome collar makes him look intimidatingly radiant. Here's how Japanese netizens reacted to the glowing dog: "It feels like the final boss... haha," "I have too much resentment, I don't want to go home," "Overwhelmingly like the last villain," "Your eyes are like a wolf's," "Have you fallen into the dark forces?" "FÅ«ta-kun, you look like a Terminator," "I'm always worried that the dog's eyes are too bright when wearing a glowing collar."
Now, whenever you see a Shiba Inu, this image will likely come to mind.
