The Dog Walks with a Grumpy Face: Initially Thought to Be Shy, But It Says: "I Don't Understand Why We Waste Time Doing This..."

One of the editor's favorite activities is to enjoy a hearty meal and then spend time in the park playing with other people's dogs. This sentiment resonates with Twitter user Kohaku (@ahiru589), who recently shared an amusing story about a dog near his home.

The Dog's Story

Kohaku noted, "There’s a dog in my neighborhood that always looks quite displeased while walking. One day, I spoke with its owner, who mentioned, 'This dog originally came from a shelter and probably has never been walked before.'" Kohaku reflected, "I was just about to say, 'Ah, that makes sense; it must find the outside world quite scary,' when the owner added, 'So it might be thinking, why do I have to do this every day?'" This revelation had Kohaku laughing uncontrollably.

Community Reactions

Some netizens humorously referred to the dog as a "NEET dog" (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), emphasizing its unwillingness to go for walks. One user expressed their thoughts: "I can imagine the dog thinking: 'Here we go again with this walk, but I guess I have to since they did help me out first.'" This sentiment captures a relatable feeling of being stuck in an unavoidable situation.

Recent Developments

Kohaku also added that recently the dog has been walking with a fluorescent collar and still seems displeased. Below is an image of a similar fluorescent collar (not the actual dog). Overall, it's wonderful that this dog has found an owner willing to take it for walks. Let's hope that one day it will come to enjoy these outings!
