Zoo Animals Trending Escapes? Zebra Spotted on South Korean Streets Meets Delivery Rider, Becomes Album Cover!

Recently, the most popular animal has been the "Baboon", but South Korea has also experienced an animal escape event. The main character is a two-year-old male zebra in Korea. Although it was caught after roaming the streets for over three hours, it was rare to see a wild zebra in the densely populated Seoul city area. Related videos and photos have gone viral online!

Sero, a male zebra born in June 2019 at Seoul Children's Grand Park, broke out of his enclosure on March 23 by damaging the wooden boards. He was spotted running on the streets near Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and was eventually tranquilized by firefighters while wandering in a residential area. The zebra's escape ended with its capture.

Experts speculate that the escape might be related to the death of Sero's parents, as he has recently been aggressive and often fights with his neighbor, a kangaroo. The zoo has stated that they will pay closer attention to Sero's mental and physical health following this incident.

Fortunately, neither humans nor the zebra were injured during the incident. However, after being returned to the zoo, Sero refused even his favorite snacks, carrots, indicating that he was not in a good mood.

Residents who encountered Sero on the streets shared amusing stories. One resident calmly turned around and headed back home upon seeing the zebra, prompting netizens to joke that he must have thought he saw a debt collector.

A photo of Sero meeting a delivery motorcycle in the middle of the road has been creatively used as a music album cover, much to the delight of netizens.
